As our lives have returned to their usual pace – work, travel, and events with a vengeance – we crave a moment’s pause to take in great beauty, and nature. Mirror Garden is a celebration of this nature and the great skill of the craftsman in representing it. Following on from the magical dreamscape of our Festive ’22 Imaginarium collection, we convene with nature in its more contained form – the garden. We build on the trend for natural materials and wood-block style representation. Borrowing from the East-Asian tradition of the reflective and symmetrical garden, our Mirrored Garden comes forth.

Bold & the Beautiful
The cushions, rugs, and fabric prints in this collection feature imagery of delicate and frolicking peacocks and lions, balanced with geometric prints such as our revival of Balconies and Incana. We are left with the impression of keeping animals or gardens safe within.
We present a beautifully bold Living Collection for Spring. The overall tone of the collection is set by textiles, with a bright, fresh, and seasonal color palette. Accented by interesting neutrals and more mature “grown-up” grays, while still maintaining a fresh feel.
Our Hero Print, Peacock’s Song, where woodcut-style peacocks mirror each other in a dainty and pretty - yet symmetrically structured print. Celebrate serene natural beauty under a leafy canopy in two contrasting color palettes for this print – a luscious deep green and poppy seasonal coral.
Complement these with vividly colored solid and striper fabrics with rich textures. A twisted weave solid weave in a striking grapefruit coral hue, the equally bold casual striper, and an elegantly textured Raffia fabric in a mellow yellow tone.
Lion in the Garden
Spring has sprung and fresh blooms play peek-a-boo in a sea of grown-up grey-green. It’s a magical garden, with a majestic lion seated under a dense tree with quiet power. One lion becomes multiple in the mirrored garden, burgeoning with creative possibilities in form, texture, and print. This deeper color palette pairs superbly with geometric prints and patterns for balance and also symbolically contains and tames the nature that it depicts in the garden.

You can pick from coordinated “groups” of cushions in several unique color stories to suit your vibe and palette (scroll to the end to see them all!). Hero the prancing peacock with bright pops of coral, pink and yellow; showcase our narrative story prints illustrated lions and birds; hero the quietly urbane, with duskier olives and deep green; and a narrative chiaroscuro in mature greys for the effect of contrasted light and shadow.

The Mirrored Garden also features an exquisitely crafted capsul of geometric and color-blocked rugs to complete your garden story. The woven rugs are like magical abstract doors into your garden, and conjure up different pastoral sights that can be imagined from a window perch, literally: Window to the Field, Window to the Sky, Rose Door, and Jade Door. These rugs are handwoven by artistans in rural and tribal parts of India, re-connecting us with a craft tradition with a modern accent.

The new handpainted ceramic dinnerware series is joyously crafted by artisans and transports you to a garden filled with the sweet aromas and sights of pomegranate fruit. The peachy colors evoke spring, with strong shoots of life-giving green. The dinnerware collection is simply begging for an al fresco setting. Roughly carved and painted wall art that re-creates our print motives, floral carving on cabinets and tables are all making their debut this season. Embroidered techniques in early summer will take nature into another dimension on crafted cushions and even upholstery.
